Daniel Bajusz

I'm a creative director, born and raised in Chicago, with a background in design, photography, and digital experiences focused on strong ideas, thoughtful design, and memorable visual storytelling.

I got into photography in high school and originally thought that was where I was headed. As the industry changed and suddenly everyone had an iPhone in their pocket, I took the hint and pivoted to art direction and design, while keeping photography in my creative toolkit. I still shoot professionally, design, build websites, and like being hands-on with the work whenever I can.

I eventually moved into healthcare after seeing firsthand how much a chronic condition affected a close friend and her everyday life. It made me realize the work could connect with people on a different level, while giving me an opportunity to push the design and raise the creative bar.

I’ve always been the type of creative to bring the nontraditional idea to the table, even when it might be a long shot. As a creative director, I want the same from my teams. There should always be room for the reckless, slightly dangerous idea. The best ones tend to live somewhere near the edge of madness.
